Next Bridge Funding was founded to meet the needs of underserved traditional bank customers. We provide fast, short term, Real Estate Financing on Commercial Real Estate in the Midwest. We pride ourselves on working at the speed of our customers. The Real Estate Market moves fast and so do we. We can close loans in as little as 48 hours and don’t require all the traditional credit checks, bank statements and tax returns. We are local and started as Real Estate Investors, so we understand the Real Estate Market, therefore we have the ability to tailor a loan to meet your specific needs. We conduct all of our own underwriting and inspections, so you will be dealing with the people who will making the lending decision, not a person who has no stake in getting your loan closed.


Mark Abbruzzese

Founder & President
Mark has been a real estate investor for over 14 years. He has fixed and flipped over 800 homes himself, so he understands the ins and outs of this business. He has also managed a rental portfolio of over 200 single family and multifamily residential properties. Mark started providing commercial loans in 2006 and has funded hundreds of loans since then. Mark has a BA in Marketing from the University of Dayton and an MBA in Finance from the University of Detroit. Prior to being a real estate investor and lender, he worked for Ford Motor Co. in marketing and advertising and in dealer development. He has been married for 20 years and has two sons, both in high school.

Claudia Barbosa

Director of Sales and Marketing
Claudia started her career in advertising sales after graduating from Olivet College with a degree in business and marketing. She gained experience in sales, business administration, marketing, and account management before joining us here at Next Bridge Funding where she assists with loan origination and directs our marketing. As a member of our team, her goals include gaining knowledge in the real estate landscape and helping clients to make their projects come to fruition. Claudia is married and a new mom to her daughter who she loves to spend time with and take on new adventures. She's an "old" mom to her dog, Kato, who also joins in on any adventure that he can!

Raymond Vega

Broker - Florida
After playing college football and graduating from Southwest Minnesota State University, most of Raymond's 15 year, professional career, has been spent serving the real estate investment community - from brokering vacant land in SW Florida to working with private investors on Fix & Flips, and becoming a licensed realtor. His success has come through hard work, a superior knowledge of the market and the ability to connect with his clients. Building long lasting relationships with clients has always served him well and is the heart of his business. Outside of work, Raymond enjoys quality time with his three children, family, and friends.

Diane Ghiglietti

Director of Social Media
Diane’s career started in advertising for the automotive industry. While her background includes traditional advertising and marketing, Diane shifted her focus to digital marketing nearly a decade ago. Her role includes: Managing our social media accounts, developing and designing content, publishing our monthly newsletter, and staying on top of the latest social media trends. She works remotely from sunny Tampa, Florida, living the beach life with her French Bulldog, Olive.

Renee Bruce

Office Manager
Renee has been in the real estate industry for 15+ years and with Next Bridge Funding since 2011. She has been an instrumental part of our growth and held many responsibilities over the past decade including overseeing accounts payables and receivables, maintaining the status of each property within the company’s portfolio, and being fully engaged in day-to-day operations. She studied at Wayne State University and WCCCD, and attended Cass Tech High School where she graduated academically in the top 3% of all Detroit High School Students. Renee has a vast knowledge of office administration, allowing her to be successful in her current role. Renee is married and a mother of 3 and loves spending time with her family, going on vacations, and going to the movies. She is also an animal lover and has 3 dogs and a part-time cat.
